NERCI being a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) accredited by DSIR and a recognized research centre of Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies(KUFOS), Invite Applications from potential CSIR –UGC NET qualified candidates to register for Ph.D programme in Marine and Atmospheric sciences for the period 2026-2027. NERCI can also provide mentorship to DST-SERB programmes like WOS-A, DST-NPDF and CSIR-RA to execute their independent projects from 2026.

Nansen Environmental Research Centre (India) (NERCI) is inviting applications for a 3-month Project Associate position under Project MOUSAM (Monitoring, Observation and Understanding for Sustainability, Awareness and Mitigation), a CSR initiative funded by Cochin Shipyard Limited.
Duration: 3 Months
Remuneration: ₹20,000/month + TA & DA as applicable
Desired Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geosciences, Meteorology, Social Work, or a related discipline with First class.
Age limit as on 1st July, 2026- Not above 26Years
Desired Skills:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Stakeholder consultations and report preparation
• Experience in conducting workshops, surveys, and field/site visits
• Working knowledge of GIS software (QGIS or ArcGIS)
